Amigurumi and toys

Amigurumi is crochet in the round with a hook one or two sizes smaller than the yarn label suggests, so the fabric is dense enough to hide the stuffing. Most of these patterns use only single crochet, increases and decreases, which makes them a friendly first project once you can work a magic ring.

Every toy pattern lists the finished height at the stated gauge, the safety eyes or embroidered alternative, and the order the pieces are joined. Pieces are photographed at each stage so you always know what yours should look like.
