If you live in the EU or the UK you have a 14-day right to cancel most online purchases. Here is how that works for a downloaded pattern.

Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom can cancel a contract made online within 14 days without giving a reason and get their money back. For digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium, such as a PDF, the law lets the download begin inside those 14 days only if you expressly ask for it and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the download starts.
When you enter an EU or UK country at checkout, a box appears with the words: I want the patterns delivered immediately and understand that I lose my right to withdraw once the download is available. Ticking it is your express request. The time you ticked it is stored with the order and shown on your order page.
If you do not tick the box, you can still buy; the patterns are held for 14 days and become available in your library and by email on the fifteenth day. During those 14 days you can cancel from the order page or by writing to us, and we refund in full within 14 days of the cancellation.
Once you have asked for immediate delivery and the download is available, the withdrawal right ends, but the refunds page still applies. A file that does not open, an error we cannot fix, or a duplicate charge is refunded regardless.
